Review: Japan Inn

I overall really enjoyed this restaurant. Everything from the decor to the food was just fantastic.

Decor: When I entered the restaurant, I got a modern yet comfortable feeling. The chairs were really comfortable, and the tables were slick and smooth. I ate Hibatchi, which is when they cook all the food right in front of you, and it was really amazing.

Food: I ordered a mix of Hibatchi chicken and Hibatchi steak. However, as part of the Hibatchi deal, I got Miso Soup, salad, yellow rice mixed with eggs, vegetables, and a taste of the other food (the choices are steak, chicken, or shrimp, so I tasted shrimp). The chicken and steak were just so tender and so delicious. They were probably my favorite part of the meal. The Miso Soup was better than most of the Miso Soups that I have ever tasted, but the salad was just ordinary salad, nothing special. As for the rice mix: it was very tasty, even though it was made with just ordinary ingredients. What I also enjoyed about the rice mixture was that since it is eight people to a table, the chef made a load of rice, and then he asked one of the kids at our table what his favorite animal was, and then he made the shape of that animal from the rice! It was really cool! The vegetables were just steamed vegetables, but the shrimp were so fluffy because the chef cut them open before he cooked them.

Overall, I think this was a fabulous restaurant.
